Title: Old turkey hunting pic

Our local museum has a display up right now with this in it-

Since turkeys were totally killed off in Canada around the turn of the century, we sometimes forget that we had them before that.  The plaque says this man came to my are in 1837 and opened a tavern, so he must have been an adult all ready when he got here.  Considering the average life expectancy of the time period, I would think this picture must have been taken around late 1870's to 1880's.

Notice the side by side double!!! No fancy chokes , slick willie stuff! My kinda hunter! Seriously you guys get way to into that gun stuff! Look what it did for Porter and Daryl!!!

I emailed the curator of the museum, and he sent a reply saying the photo dates to the 1860's.  He's going to send me a digital copy of the full photo, so I will post that when I get it.
