Obama had a tough road from day one, I dont think most rational people are surprised by that poll. From a historical standpoint this is nothing new. Franklin D. Roosevelt who is widely regarded as one of the greatest President's in American history had an approval rating in 1938 of only 46%. History indicates that the man who brought the U.S. out of the depression was immensely unpopular in his time. Its clear that the state of the economy weighs heavily on these measures...

You missed one point about Roosevelt that almost all economists agree on..............the depression lasted longer because of his actions as President. Had he not spent like a drunken sailor...as Obama is doing now, The recovery would have ended sooner and the country would have been better off! All the social programs he instituted have been mill stones around the necks of everyone.....and stiil are!

When everyone can understand that roosevelt layed the ground work for socialism, then we can all understand how our current leaders need for change will be even more devestating.
Read some of thomas jefferson's writings and see that ou forfathers had real insight on what was going to happen. I will post them later..They will astound you on how true they were then and even more now.

Well seeing all those F ratings I'm glad the presidency isn't like school. With grades like that he would flunk and have to repeat the year ROTFLMBO 3 more yrs and he's gone. Lets hope he doesn't do to much damage
