Title: What stage are your turkeys in now ?

 I just wanted to hear input from people in different areas about what stage your flocks are in now? Are the gobblers breaking off from their winter groups  ? Are the hen flocks separating into different areas ? How close are they to gobbling peak? Basically , what are they doing now ? Thanks, just curious !

Here from I am being told they are in full swing. Off the Roost, and it is on! Flocks broke up and full Spring pattern.

They are at the stage of waiting for me to show up on May 1st lol
Still in large numbers and haven't split up into smaller groups or lone longbeards yet in PA

Just starting to warm up. Gobbling on the roost and then flying down w/ the hens. Season begins April 10. Hope they are a bit more fired up by then.

My season doesn't open til the end of the month but I am going to do a little scouting tomorrow.  Supposed to be mid 50's tonight getting upto the high 80's to low 90's tomorrow.  They should be getting started.

Here they are breaking up into smaller flocks, but not quite split all the way.  I watched 3 strutters last weekend with @ 10 to 12 hens. 

I haven't heard any gobbling, but hopefully will this weekend!

here in central Indiana they are still in large groups.  Been seeing some strutters but not much in the way of gobbles.

Things are slowly heating up here. They are starting to gobble on their own. This season should be good!  RkLu
