Title: Steve Mann #1 Standard Old Hen "Shorty"

Here's a little beauty I received today in the mail from my good bud. It's one of Steve's "shorty" calls in walnut over butternut. This is the first, (and last he says but I don't believe him), shorty call made with the standard old hen check pattern. His L/E shorty's in 2007 had a smaller old hen check pattern. The call sounds great on both sides. I've included a pic of one of Steve's standard shortboxes for comparison.

That shorty is awesome but so is the other call. Steve is one of the finest callmakers in the country. Congrats on another fine call John.
