One that will shot 2 3/4" & 3" & What size Barrel???
Thanks Bill

I love my 870's. I hunt almost exclusively with that 870 JR. I get a lot of funny looks toting a gun with an 18.5" barrel around, but dang it's light!
I almost went with a single shot, but elected for the 870. I have 2 870's in 20 gauge.

Remington made a run of 870's a few years back. They were designated the SP and had trueglow sights and were camoed. If you can find one of these, get it.........they are real turkey guns and weigh almost nothing!

Charles Daly in a semi-automatic. My Daughters shoot one and it will outperform most 12 ga guns. Price is around $290

I think I have one of those in 12ga. They Were called SP Big Game ..... Go from a Turkey Gun to a Slug Gun By changing choke tubes..... Nice Gun !!

You should get one for under $300 without any problem.

Bill,
I would look for a good, used 20GA Remington 870 on gunbroker.com. Just make sure you get a 3-day inspection clause so you can clean and inspect the bore. IT should be "perfect" with no pitting. A good price would be $250.
Now a "sleeper" 20GA shotgun out there is a Charles Daley 20GA. They sometimes recoil a bit harder than other 20GAs but they flat out get the pattern out there!
Since Charles Daley went out of business, you might be able to pick one up for a steal somewhere. ;)
Finally, if you want a little something "different," look around for a Winchester model 12 20GA. The barrel could be threaded for screw-in choke of your liking. Lots of guys do this for card shooting shotguns but largely, the turkey hunting fraternity overlooks customizing older shotguns with new barrels. Mistake IMO. *dance*
