Thanks Y'all. These two had different plans than what actually happened. We first set up on at least four birds gobblin their huevos off, just on the other side of our property. They gobbled non stop, for thirty minutes. One would gobble and it would trickle down the line, and by the time it to the end, the lead bird would start it up again! I heard young birds go on and on, but not like this. Thirty minutes into it, all of a sudden; BOOM!!! There were high fives and all kinds of chatter coming from the adjoining property. My buddy and I got up and walked back down the trail and stood over looking the bluff in discuss *cry* Our property has 200ft bluffs that go strait down to the Savannah river. On the other side is a South Carolina Wma. as we were looking down on the tree tops, a bird fires off in the Carolina tree tops. As we were checking out his show and fooling around with some calling, I heard something running through the woods that sounded like a squirrel. It wasn't a squirrel! It was a nice two year old gobbler making a b-line strait for us. My buddy drew down on him just in time to take him at about twenty yards. After our amazing moment, we turned our attention back on ole loud mouth, down in Carolina. We decided o give him a one and a million shot, and see if we could get him so fired up, that he would fly the river. I belly cralled to the overhang and tried to spot him in the trees while my buddy  gave him a few calls. The bird couldn't stand it! I dropped back to tell my friend that it might be working and to keep giving it to him. Not five minutes later, that crazy old bird flew the river under my radar and popped up twenty yards away and gobbled in my face while I was on my belly! I could move a muscle so of course...my buddy dispatches the bird at a mere fifteen yards.
It was definitly on of my most memorable moments in the woods to date. And we thought those boys on the other property had all the fun for the morning
