Title: NW Oklahoma scouting trip this morning

On one side of the road

Also saw a big ol' cock pheasant sitting in a field of stubble. What a great morning in God's Grand Creation!!!!

Post by: trumpetturner on March 22, 2010, 07:45:30 AM: I went out last night and watched about 50 go to roost. I had done my research in the courthouse Friday to find out who the landowners were. With the advent of cell phones there were no phone numbers listed in the phone book. So, I stopped at a farmhouse nearby and it belonged to one of the landowners, who also gave me the phone number of one of the other landowners..........................................................GOT PERMISSION FROM BOTH OF THEM TO HUNT!!! *dance* *dance* *dance*

I'll be back up here in a couple of weeks if the Lord's willin' and the creek don't rise!!!
