Title: A couple of recent projects
Post by: firedup on March 03, 2010, 08:11:10 PM
I guess I am one of / the new guy here. A couple of boxes recently finished. Best thing about winter is I get shop time.  ;D Mite have posted these in the wrong place! If so..please advise.
Curly Maple lid with inlayed turkey feather of Holly, Ebony, Walnut and butternut and just a touch of deer antler. Walnut body sitting on a matching curly maple base.

Cherry lid with an elk antler carved gobbler head set in Turqouise. Holly accents in lid and in the Mulberry body.

WOW - your Curly Maple / Walnut caller is exceptional - "what a lid", feather inlay is very sweet, & antler handle is way cool - a really fine box right there ...  :o   :o
... the Cherry / Mulberry is a very clean box - a real sharp lookin' caller there - gobbler head inlay is a sure enough fine touch to that one ...  8)  8)
