After seeing and hearing about these calls, I had to get one ordered. I talked to Billy and had mine tuned more for a kee kee (yes all of the boxes will kee kee but mine is a bit higher start than he generally tunes them toward) and boy did he hit the nail on the head.
Of course, being of Osage, helps this call tremendously. I've been playing it every chance I've gotten. Hopefully I'll get some outdoor time tomorrow and really get to work it out. Wife is about to shoot me playing it inside :) Cannot wait to bloody some heads this Spring and next Fall!

I got one and you can ask Zumer it is all turkey.He was witness to it bringing a Gobbler in after an hour with all other calls hit one series of calls and Bam on a run he came in

A lot of hunters underestimate the high pitch start to a long box, and these are even more so than normal. It can make the difference.

Don't listen, don't listen..... If you do you will be hooked. Billy's design is different than most longboxes. It has a spring around the screw lid and the box is quite a bit taller than the normal paddle box. But it will flat talk turkey. Mine has that high start and raspy, nasty finish I love. His holsters are also great quality and workmanship from some Amish folks.

That is one sweet looking call. Is it true that is the only wood combo he uses to make those calls? That is what I've heard.

I asked him that question and he has made some out of other wood combos, but this is the wood that works with his design. That's what he told me. I took it as that is all you will get from him now. I may be wrong though!

... the same here as far as the "one" combo - but I thought I heard he can; & will; tune it a few different ways, for those that might like havin' more than one call from a callmaker ... ::)

Yepper!! That's what I hear!! You can't go wrong, an awsome long box, and a great holster at a very reasonable price..... His calls are known to be turkey killers.....

If you like a call with some serious rasp...this is the one. Mine,like Rickey's, has that high start and than just rips into an awesome rasp. Might need to order another tuned a bit differently than the one I have. ;)
