Title: Wild Turkey Balls
Post by: G8ORB8 on February 26, 2010, 01:45:37 PM
I recently made up this dessert for a banquet. I love 'em and they are super easy to make!

Wild Turkey Balls

4 C. Pecans
1 C. Confectioner’s Sugar
2 C. Vanilla Wafers
½ C. Wild Turkey 101 Bourbon
3 T. Light Karo Syrup
2 T. Butter, softened

Pulse the vanilla wafers and half of the pecans in a food processor until it resembles a coarse meal. Transfer to a mixing bowl and fold in powdered sugar. Add Wild Turkey and Karo syrup and stir until well blended. Crush remaining pecans and place on waxed paper. Form the mixture into 1” balls using an ice cream scoop and your butter greased fingertips and roll in pecans. Makes 12-15.

Mike, you can leave out the bourbon by adding a teaspoon of vanilla extract and double the amount of Karo. They are still good in non-alcoholic form.

Bill, you have to kill big turkeys!  ROTFLMBO ROTFLMBO I know you do. You and Malinda need to try these - quick, easy and delicious.
