Title: Bowhunting Turkeys

who all bowhunts turkeys?   I went out a few times with the bow this spring. had a few close encounters. im sure ill try it again but im not toting a blind around that sucked!!

From September 15th till Oct 1st I will be.  In the Spring, I always tote my shotgun with me.  I might do some changing around this year though.  After October 31st (or as soon as I harvest my 2 birds with my shotgun) I'll go after them until deer season!

I took the bow out a few times this spring. I hunted a bird for 15 or so days and finally had him come into range but couldn't get him with the bow (stupid tree). I got him the next morning with the 935! I want to kill one bad with a bow though!!

4... 2 with archery tags and 2 with firearms tag.  You can use your bow for your firearms tags too I believe!

Same here, no blind!! just a BIG tree for me!! went out this past spring! NO LUCK! :'( :'(

Never bow hunted turkeys, but after watching a few videos I wish I had!
