Marlin Watkins, Al & Josh Shoemaker, Jeff MaKamey, Steve Mann, Lamar Williams, Danny Wells, Lee smith, Daryl Slaton, Bren Stoner and Jim of Derby City, Glen Marrer, Dave Hodgkins, Greg Guthridge, Charlie Parrish, Jason Schaffer, Ed Jenkins, George Quay, Tim Clayton, Little Mike,Richard Meagher, Mike Almond, Scotty Maddux, Lee Chadwick and I could go on and on. It is a true honor to have met so many fine men and call makers even if just on line. The character and ethics of these fine men and many more is unbelievable. I find it difficult in my heart to complement one without thinking I am somehow putting one over the other. The truth is, the quality of calls and the even better quality of men we have on here is astounding! I wish I could somehow convey that. I just want to say thank you, for allowing me to see your work, call you friends and participate in this forum. I wish I could sit and talk with each one for hours. Here's to the Great Call makers (men) of The Osage Roost!

Mike you know there are a ton of great people here. I've had a lot of fun with this site. I've told several members, if it shut down tomorrow... I've gained so many new friends I'd cherish every moment.
Nashville even allowed me to make even more friends. I had a blast meeting everyone.
Turkey calls have become so much part of my life, that seeing each person(s) work of art means a lot to me. I wish I had more money and could buy a lot more. I do the best I can and running this forum has opened my eyes to callmakers I'd never seen nor thought of buying from.
I tend to buck the system and believe in doing things differently. I hope a lot of members have noticed that and realize it. Dare to be different. Most importantly, be yourself on this forum. This forum would be nothing without the help of the great members here. This is OUR forum! Osage Roost is a team effort. Every user is very vital to the success of the site. If Osage Roost had one mission, it is to help provide a place for the callmakers to show off their work and help them in their strive to be the best! They are all winners in my mind!
Not a day goes by that I do not cherish your contributions Mike. You are a big reason for the success of Osage Roost!!! Now Rock On ROTFLMBO

Wow is all I can say to even be listed in that list of callmakers that have spent their entire lifetime honing their skills. I have been blessed through this forum so much in the acquantices and friendships I have made and you my friend are considered a fine true friend. There are so many fine men here that share the same love and passion we all have with calls. Learning from each other and buying each others calls is great. I have been on different sites a few years and I will be the first to commend ole Porter for providing this group of guys a good place to roost and be with friends.
Mike you are an intergral part on this forum as I see it and it is us that benefits from your leadership both from a spiritual as well as sharing your friendship.
I coulds go on and on but it is us -the members of this forum-that deems the rewards from having you as a memer and moreover, you Mike as a cherrished friend.

You know I'd like to take all the credit, but I cannot. Two people that I do not believe ever get enough credit are two good friends of mine. Al and Daryl. I wanted to do this, but I was afraid no one would come. It was like I'd open the gates and the seats would be empty. I just mentioned to them two what I was thinking of doing. What and how would we get members. What would work... what wouldn't work.. .and etc... They gave me the support I needed to get started.
After them came the Charter Members. They helped mold this forum and I still listen to what they say and what everyone says. I started this site with the mentality if you can dish it, you'd better be able to take it... My grandpa said that to me at a very early age. I've always believed in that saying!
I've made so many friends and I cannot wait to meet them all. Nashville was a blast and this forum is just another venue to have fun on! Yeah and us collector nuts (Hunter22, letinmfly, augiedog and Cosmo too ) have a place to show off our stuff and drool at the beautiful works of art too!
