I'm loving it. It's really coming down now. I'm going home, firing up the snow blower and then going for a nice snowy ride on the quad.

Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow my ***! We are getting pounded again! If it would stay in the mountains and fields it would be nice, but when it is waist deep in the road it's a bunch of *poo*!

Ok this is one of those dumb questions, but 14" is the most I've ever seen fall here... what the heck do you do with the snow in the city? I mean, you push it to the side (like they do here) and you would not be able to get out!!!
I wish I was around there where I could get that much snow!

Just keep it up there boys!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my... If we got that much dumped on us... it would be awesome! That's what I built my ole truck for!!! 6 " of snow is not much challenge for it ROTFLMBO

As of now we're at about 24 to 26 inches and counting. My poor little guy can barely see over the snow let alone play in it. Just shoveled my path to the shop, didn't do the driveway yet....gotta keep my priorities straight. ;)

Mike, Many large cities will dump huge amounts of snow into open water like rivers.
-
It's so heavy that I'm not sure that the snow blower will move this stuff when it's over and done with. I might need to rent a flame thrower from the military for a day. *wha* >:(
If the snow blower doesn't do it than mother nature will have to get rid of it. Come on spring. RkLu
Ed, I'm glad you have your priorities in order. ;) ROTFLMBO

Lou,
I figured I can't drive anywhere anyway so I might as well be able to get to the shop. Gimme something to do.

Mike you must be sniffing too much Osage dust you dont ever want to see a mess like we have here 14" on top of 14' OR IS IT 16'. All of the interstates are closed we have 30 to 40 mph. winds and by tomorrow the snowdrifts will be measured in feet. The snow at the house is above the window sills so I guess we will shovel our way out of the family room when we open the slideing glass door. Wish I could post some pictures.

Mike the people in the City shovel there car out by throwing it in the street then the plow comes and plows them back in, then they throw it back in the street, then they plow them back in, ect.ect.ect. ROTFLMBO ROTFLMBO ROTFLMBO ROTFLMBO Then spring comes and melts it so they can find there car, you see the plow always wins!!! ROTFLMBO ROTFLMBO ROTFLMBO

Some of your stories and photos make our 12-14 '' look like a dusting.
The only thing a deep snow is good for is predator hunting . I recall back in the late '70s when we got hit with that blizzard . Weren't any coyotes around then ,,,,,,but man we had the foxes . And they were plenty hungry . You couldn't get out without seeing at least one . They couldn't walk at all . They litterally had to jump each time they moved .
But deep snow is for young men ,,,,,,,,,,,I now prefer Fall leaves or Spring chiggers .

Lou you should go out and build the worlds largest snow man ROTFLMBO I bet you could find enough snow to build a couple...
You guys be careful. You honestly could send some of that snow my way! You don't have to "hog" it all for yourself!!!
