Title: One sider
Post by: Blackfalcon on February 08, 2010, 03:45:50 PM: Here is something a little different, a Gibson style one sider prototype. I am pleased with the way this came out,although I think I will make a minor change on the off side, not really sure right now. The box is mahogany, the paddle was a piece from the scrap box as it had some knots, but it still plays well. I don't use the best wood for experiments, I have learned it isn't always a good idea,LOL.

In my experience it's easier to position your thumb and have better control of the call and to make better, more realistic sounding cutts, clucks and putts that way. JMO

I did think you mis-spoke when you said Gibson one sider, but now I see you hadn't gone mad...
