Title: drabndouble gots me thinking now
Post by: Porter on January 29, 2010, 06:52:24 PM
So while we are picking everyones brains here... what books are recommended to read for Turkey season?

What did you get from the recommended book and is it one you read every year before season?

I'm not much of a reader, but I'm sure I could read all day about turkey hunting!

Porter,

A recommendation for an awesome DVD to watch would be Denny Gulvas' "Challenging Pressured gobblers." One, if not the most informative DVD out on the streets...Pg.55 in the midwest catalog.....

A GOOD read is Ray Eyes "Practical Turkey Hunting Stratgies." Pg 78 in the Midwestturkey catalog......www.midwestturkeycall.com

If anyone wants the contact info for Denny, just send me a PM........

I read the Old Pro Turkey Hunter several times a year . It's out of print but you can occasionally find used copies floating around the net.
