Nashville is on the mind and then some sweet Spring music!!! 3 weeks of hunting back to back. Being away from work has never felt as good as this will!

I hunt Kentucky and Ohio during the youth seasons with my Daughter and the regular season that gives me a good six weeks to hunt turkeys. I still don't think it's enough time though. I could listen to the turkeys singing in the spring woods all year long. I am fired up to get out there. Only about ten more weeks to go !!

I am going to try and hunt four states again in about a 5 week period. My back has been doing great so I believe I will be up to the challenge.

How is Mexico with all violence and drug war problems? I heard guys weren't going this year because of it.
I was initially worried about that, so I checked out the international travel warnings through the U.S. Dept of State/Dept of Health and there are currently no concerns for Mexico. I asked my outfitter about it, and he is booked up for the season. Apparently the hunts are held in the sparsely populated rural areas where drug and criminal activity isn't very worrisome. I've got my fingers crossed for a safe trip! *cheers*
