Title: Fiddling around in the shop

Here is a call I made a couple of weeks ago, it is some musical grade Old Growth Alsakan Yellow Cedar, from a deadfall tree found off the coast said to some 500 years old. It certainly has some tight grain and good tone. It has been sitting in the shop for a year or so, and I thought it was time to make another call from it. With the Zebra striker , she plays the turkey bluegrass with some sweet country girl twang! ;D

Thanks again for the nice comments guys, I appreciate it!  Lee, I have tried a few different woods for strikers,purple heart,cedar,Peruvian Walnut, I was talking with Bulldog Mikey and he suggested the Zebra wood and I really like it on this,this one is medium pitch with a good high front, nice rollover and all the rasp you might need
