Title: Shark vertebrae trumpet
Post by: ghost5 on April 27, 2018, 09:24:15 AM
Been a while since I have posted but here is something I just finished. This is a first as far as I know a trumpet made with a hybrid blank using shark vertebrae then I added a piece of African blackwood to the end for the bell and African blackwood mouthpiece.

Not fun to turn but I was determined to do it.

I like it Tommy! I saw some of those and had the same thought..would this make a trumpet?
While I enjoy a challenge I think I'll leave the sharks to you..Great job!

Thanks it was not fun. If I do another one I'll make sure it has a different resin.
