Title: Decorative tube call
Post by: stevelumma on January 13, 2010, 09:11:31 PM
Here is a tube I made from elk antler. Hand hewn and shaped. I ended up with a second place ribbon in Atlanta a couple years back. A couple pics of carved and then finished. Hope you enjoy !!!!     Steve

Steve,

I wish I could do that kind of stuff.  Thanks for the photos of the progression.  Obviously it's a whole different thing when the paint is added.
It's a beautiful call. *cool*

Dave I plan on taking a lot of pics and open an area on the site just for the NWTF convention!  That way we can all pool our resources and get a good documentation!

Still this call is unreal!

Dave, This year I rented some booth space , so most of my efforts this year are geared towards getting calls made to have avaliable at the booth. I am entering a trumpet and a wingbone for the hunting catagory, and hope to have one decorative entry. I will be sure to post that entry after the show. Does that mean I won't see you there?  *cry*

Steve,

Nope.....

Been out of work since the first of the year, I'd rather buy a good call for the $$$ it would cost to go to the nationals.
(the $$$ for the call I have ordered from you is in the bank), just waiting to send it on your request.
Only regret is not seeing all my friends this year. *cry* *cry*
