Title: Summer projects
Post by: firedup on June 29, 2017, 09:37:00 AM
Haven't been doing much with calls lately but tinkering around with other stuff that catches my interest. Acid etching metal. Mostly knives. Playing around with different processes and chemicals. It's interesting and very frustrating at the same time. Lol.

Very cool LT. I've always wanted to try and make a knife, just haven't taken the time.

Thanks to all! I like the deep etch and dark colors from an acid but I am getting much better detail using an electric process and vinyl designs. Just like Patrick uses in his images and logos. But really small stuff is a killer. It's a process called weeding.  :( and major pain. The cup was me cutting out with a razor and I am not an artist. I do stick people good tho!   ;D  Aother  image showing some logo type stuff. Folder is buffed out. Just playing around. Thanks again for the support!
