Well ole Darlene (Daryl) has left this morning and last night... it truly hit that was probably the end of turkey season for me.
I had a heck of a time. I didn't get to hunt as much as I would have liked to have, but my dad had shoulder surgery and being at a new job, I didn't truly have any time off.
I've made a lot of memories this year and hoping that next year is even better. I still have a tag left for KS and I have 4 days off over Memorial Day, so who knows.. I might just might head out West and chase them once again. I'm sure it will be very tough, but I'm not sure I'm ready to end my season yet!!!
How is everyone else coping with the end of their season(s)?

Fill that tag - it's never over! Haha
You know my usual end of the season depression is strong . . . I've had to survive by living vicariously through others hunts, buying turkey calls, and pranking Daryl. *peep*
I'm just waiting for them to extend our season into May . . .

Pranking Daryl was the funniest thing I've ever seen.. when you sent him a pic of cedar wood telling him it was snakewood.. that was priceless *peep*
Poor guy.. he kept going, this guy must be related to you he has Osage on the mind *lol* *lol* *lol*
But then, it brought me good luck as I smoked a nice bird :P
