Title: A Stribling with two Original Turpin features.

Here is a Gator Gobbling Stribling with a brass Top Hat and scoring of the paddle with the Antique - Nu-Trix #1 file.  Both of these features were incorporated by Tom Turpin in his original Shortbox non-handled call.  The advantage of the top hat allows a lower pivot point to the paddle.  The scoring allows the chalk in the grooves to extend the playing time without rechalking.  Both are pluses when you build the Stribling in hardwoods like this original combination of Persimmon over Walnut.  Unbelievable sound coming out of this call.  Mr. E
