An Ivory ban will go into effect, July 6, 2016. What this means is that you can only sell legal Ivory within you home state and it must meet the regulations in the link below.

Corret me if I am wrong, according to "the rule" It means raw ivory.
"The sale of items like firearms, knives, instruments and artworks with small amounts of legal ivory (representing less than half the value and volume of the item) remain unaffected. Individuals may continue to possess ivory and states may regulate commercial sales occurring entirely within their borders. While restricting the import and export of most ivory products, the revised policy creates common sense exceptions for sport-hunted trophies and musical instruments."
The Federal Fish and Wildlife admits they have no way to calculate how many elephant this "rule" will save. I encourage everyone to read the document. The Feds have given the states the power to regulate ivory further..

I'm not sure of that argument. I do know that Julia's auctions are now placing a notice on all items containing Ivory. This is so the buyers are aware that if they bid on the item they need to know their state's regulations on bringing that item containing Ivory, into their home state.
