I had an idea for a Jackpot... There's 26 horses in this year's Kentucky Derby… The first 26 that replies will get a horse on a blind draw if their horse wins they'll get a trough call by me and a couple other derby goodies… All you have to do is responded with I'll play . I'll announce the winner after the derby runs next Saturday. First reply gets first pick and so on. I'll post a list of names and there horses. It's free to play so reply now. There's Only 26 spots. Good luck !!

Contest is Closed.... Thanks everyone that signed up!! Looks like we have 3 horses left.... I'm going to save those 3 horses till Friday. Rumor has it there might be a couple horses that scratch.... It happens every year. They have until 9 am Friday to do this or it cost owners a $50,000.00 entry fee. I'll draw and post the horses Friday night when everything is finalized. There could also be last minute scratches that we can't control ..... So if your horse gets scratched after the drawing.... I'll use the final 3 horses to fill any voids caused by scratches until all the horses are claimed ...... There's alway the possibility we have more members than horses... (I hope not, but) If this happens ... I'll draw in the order in which members have signed up till all horses are claimed. Thank you all for playing and good luck..... Here's the prizes. A official collectable Kentucky Derby Glass, A Mahogany slate trough call w/ Striker and I'll add a collectable Kentucky Derby Pin. I still have to get that but, I will. Thank you Brent!!! Awesome idea and appreciate it. Coming from Southwest MO, not a lot of horse racing around here, so I watch them sparingly.
I'm sure you get your kick of them out there! Hot Springs has them, but that is almost 6 hours away *cry*

Yea, the moonshine is long gone.... John if your horse wins... I'll send ya' one of those "Travel size" bottle of some Kentucky spirit.... I'll have to check your ID first .. ;D.. Just to make sure I'm not contributing to the delinquency *cheers* ..... It's Thurby Day Today.... It's the locals day at the track..... Friday is Oaks Day... And of course Saturday is Derby Day.... It's mind boggling the amount of time, activity and money spent on a 2 minute horse race. But they don't call it "The Greatest 2 Minutes in Sports" for nothing. Anyway while all that's going on..... I get out of town and let the "Out of towner's" Have it. I'll be hunting instead RkLu

I got it in the mail today!... the call is sweet and I like it, and I was not expecting the whiskey...The glass didn't survive the trip, but I am going to try and glue it back together when I get the time.
