Title: My Kenny Morgan friction wood prototype calls.
Post by: WillowRidgeCalls on March 28, 2016, 11:44:03 AM
I like building the friction wood style calls, so these two are a couple of prototype calls that I'm building. I feel if your going to build a reproduction of a call builders calls, they should sound as close to the original as you can build them, JMO. I built these two and sent them to a friend in CO. that has a Morgan friction wood call, to compare them to his original to see how close they sound? I have never played or heard one of Kenny's calls, i've seen a pic of one, so these are my best guess at building one.
Gary was kind enough to do the comparison of these on video, so I could see/hear how close they were to his original call.
Thanks for lookin, Scott.
