Post by: Turkeybuster on December 13, 2015, 09:08:47 PM: Del , Billy that is about a pretty looking and sounding horn as I have ever seen. Y'all sure did a fine job on it. It was interesting to follow it through the different stages of its construction.
The final step will be collecting some spurs with it this spring. Of course that will be up to the operator. That's a special trumpet to me thank's to both of you for a very outstanding trumpet.

I had a hard time putting it down for any length of time today. Thanks for a outstanding trumpet and Del the matching deluxe lanyard you made with the coco bead is a perfect match for the call. It reminds me of a call you should only use on Sundays if the sun is out. The sound tells me you should never be without it.

We turned out two more coco and and olive wood today with horn. Busy day in the shop. I roughed out probably 25 trumpets while Billy roughed out horn mouth pieces. We went to turn that iron wood and it had a check and split at the bell. In the burn pile now.
