I was pretty fortunate this year in the archery woods. The first buck was taken back on Oct. 24 here in Pa. I took this buck about 250 yds behind my house and being that we just moved back in April, this was the first year to hunt this property and harvesting a buck on my own property made it all the more special. The second buck was taken on Nov. 16 in Morgan County, Illinois. I had an unbelievable few days of hunting and saw some awesome rut activity and great buck including a 165" giant that my buddy harvested. This 10 point with a split brow gave me an excellent shot opportunity that I just couldn't pass up. This buck measured 135" and field dressed at 200 lbs. Both buck came in on a string to my good buddy Pat Strawser's Pure Heat which I've been using for about 4 years now and in my opinion is some of the best you can get. Thanks again Pat. To say I was blessed this season is an understatement and look forward to ay more hunts on our new property and the adjoining mountain. Thanks for looking.
