It is an honor for me to report out that yesterday's fundraiser for Rick Harro, aka the callman raised a grand total of $21,270.00 dollars to help the Harro Family fight the rare form of cancer he is battling. There are so many people to thank. A great support from some of the callmakers from this site helped with there donations of top notch turkey calls. It was unbelievable. I probably cant get all of the names listed it is long but here are the ones I remember. Tim Bullock, Austin Hornberger, Bill Henkle, Mike Lapp. Andy Snair, Pat Strawser , Ed Terefencko, Lee Bowles, Austy Bott, Tony Ezolt , Kip Feroce , Ernie Fetters, Gregg Gutheridge, Rev. Mike Almond, Bob Fulcher, Brian Vandergrift. Bill Mantle. There are more I just can't remember them all.
Mike Richardson (bowmike) did an awesome job with this event along with Andy Snair and Lee Bowles and a host of others. This is a great example of Turkey Hunters Who Care. I would like to ask one final thing, Please continue to keep Rick and Deb Harro in your prayers as they go through this journey and that God extends his healing hands on them and the medical staff that is treating this disease. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all that you have done. Sincerely Bob Smith aka Silverspur

I would say, that this was, a very successful event! A big CONGRATULATIONS to all involved! It is amazing, what a caring and generous group of individuals we have in this world of turkey hunters and callmakers.
And to Rick and his family, I wish I could have been there, buddy but you know my prayers are with you!

Was an Awesome Day no doubt about that. Mr. McDonald you would have been in heaven with all of the beautiful calls and other custom crafted items that were up for auction.

Thanks to all who donated and thanks for the kind words Bob. I am really luck to have such good people in my life. I think we all made a statement that day, that we really care about each other and will do whatever is in our power to help others. I am going to continue with prayers for Rick and family. He had a lot of people on his side. This was one of the best days of my life, and I mean that 100% to see so much love and generosity in one place just doesn't happen anymore.

Bob, thanks for the update and congratulations to everyone on a job well done. I really wish I could have attended the event this year to meet many of the generous people that made this happen. Although I have not had the opportunity to meet Rick and Deb Harro as of yet, I've heard nothing but great things about the kind of people they are and I will continue to keep them in my thoughts. This turkey hunting and callmaking community are some of the best people out there and never hesitate to help one of their own. Great job again everyone

I think you said it all right there Mike. Everyone in attendance saw it and we are all grateful to have gotten to participate. The Lord's presence was strong.
