Title: Awesome Gift from a good Friend

I was fortunate today get a visit from Austin Hornberger to check out a few of his calls.  I'm in the midst of building a new shop so I'm getting a little behind on the callmaking.  Needless to say its nice to take a break from building the shop to play a few calls when Austin stops by.  Each time he comes down, the calls are getting better and better.  Well today, to my surprise, Austin surprised me with an unbelievable "shopwarming" gift as he called it.  he had Kelly Puckett paint a picture of my 2014 Champion of Champions Award winning call along with the medals on a gobbler tail feather.  The detail in this painting is mindblowing....to the point where I can actually read my signature on the lid of the call that Kelly painted.   To say that I was surprised by this gift is an understatement.  Thanks again Austin for such a generous gift.  I truly appreciate the gift and your friendship and it will be hanging in my shop as soon as I get it done.  Kelly, your talent is amazing....thank you for doing this project and keep up the great work.

That is simply awesome Ed.  Austin is good cat and his call are great!!  Super sweet work by Kelly as well!   Congrats on your artwork and hope all goes well will the shop!

Ed , that is an awesome keepsake from two World Class peeps there . Austin is a good hearted person, and that feather will look beautiful in your new shop ! , Lonnie

Congrats Ed again on all of your accomplishments,,,, very deserving a.
That painting is some gift - Austin gave ya something to cherish a lifetime!!!
And Kelly- what can be said about her never ending amazement with her talent-,once again Kelly- a masterpiece with a lot of meaning to Ed

Congrats Ed on such a nice gift from Austin. I think its very deserving and Kelly knocked it out of the ball park once again. It truly is a gift you should cherish a lifetime... *up*  *cool*  *up*

That is a awesome gift Ed and a very nice of ole Austin (BD) Hornberger had made for you.  But Kelly did that so well it looks like the actual call and ribbons are just placed on the feather.  What a fantastic artist and glad she does what she does for so many on this forum.
