Title: a Marlin Watkins shortbox for Sid Stafford

A ole man by the name of Sid Stafford from Tennessee asked me if I would post his newest call he is very proud of--the simple Sid is kinda computer challenged and was scarred to post the pics  *lol*.
Here is a great little Checkered Fiddle call as Marlin calls it, made of Butternut and Macassar Ebony in one of Marlins rare checkered designs.
I have played this little gem and it a player from hard yelps to sharp cuts, as well as the soft stuff. I know you are proud of the rare little checkered design that Marlin did for ya Sid---congrats on the fine call .

That's a rare bird from Marlin with the checkering these days and an excellent wood combo. Congrats.

That is a awesome short box...Marlin played one I think in that exact wood combo on a YouTube clip and the sound was amazing..exact sound I was looking for..congrats Sid on a mighty fine box
