Title: Three New Trumpets
Post by: ghost5 on July 26, 2015, 12:23:34 PM
I got out in the shop and made three more turkey trumpets. I made two from beech burl from Ohio with snakewood mouthpieces and the other is African blackwood and American holly from McNairy county TN.

The beech was not fun to turn and I had several problems with bark inclusions but finally got them done and it was worth the trouble. Nice color, chatoyance and sound.
