Title: Pro Braid vs Mono

I am considering trying Pro Braid. I fish anything from panfish to bass, salt and fresh. Have any of you guys fished the Pro Braid. I've used Stren Mono for over 30 years.

I used to use Stren Mono.  But switched over to Spider Wire Stealth Braid and love it.  Casts great, tangles are easy to get out, and knots hold.  Need to trim with very sharp tool or it will fray.

I didn't like braid for our clear water creeks and that it floats.... I like Seagar ultra clear fluorocarbon line.... sinks nicely, low streach,  and is nearly invisible....It is the best line I have found for Smallmouth fishing clear water.
