Guys,
I have my final design for the fire ring done. It should be cutout, welded, and painted this up coming week. I increased the height to 17" over all, added the legs to keep it up off the ground, the cut outs were smoothed and I added a turkey track in the center of each image.

In your opinion do you think this will bring in more money highest bidder on the auction block, or by selling chance tickets? I am thinking of selling the tickets (5) for $5.00 and (15) for $10.00. I am thinking of having it set up separately from the regular chance tickets.
Any thoughts?
I am happy with it so far and cant wait to see it burned out, and painted.

VERY NICE job there mike, that sure is a dandy donation. I have a camp site that is needing a ring! I'll have my eye on that for sure !! Not sure the best way to sell either ??

That's beautiful. You want an opinion, Ill be the first and obviously my opinion doesn't mean squat but you asked. I may have missed a post but I assume this is for make a wish?
If that's the case I would do the $5 tickets. Only reason I suggest is some might not need a fire pit but would be willing to donate and possibly win for $5. Its an awesome work of art but personally I don't see it going for a very high price, again I could be wrong and for donation purposes I think the $5 tickets will bring you more for the cause. Either way its awesome of you to do that and its really cool piece of work!
I would make a bid, buy tickets and probably PM you later to ask you to make me one lol. Nice job and that is awfully generous of you.

We are going to do (5) for $5 and (15) for $10. I think it will bring in the most money. I imagine mostly everyone there will at least put up 5 bucks. The last auction we put together had around 70 people so if it makes 350 that will be pretty good. I did the design on the ring and followed it through the process. I am a mechanical designer/sales engineer so I am good with Cad systems. I laid the ring out on CAD and the burn table cut it out. My company donated the material and Labor. I will have to finish it up once it is sand blasted.
