This old store building has belonged to my family since the late 20's or early thirties. For years now, I've had my big sander in there, and a lathe. Mainly it is used to store my call making wood and farming junk. My wife "suggested" that I do something to improve its looks, and it became a project of mine this spring. I did all the work, replacing the front with cypress "log" siding and trim, with new glass on three of the windows, replaced the square posts with larger diameter cedar posts cut here on my farm, and added a rain gutter. Most of my work will, as usual, be done in my shop next door, but now this part of my operation has a little more class. My logo, about the size of a football, is on the right hand door but is hidden by the post. I hope to put a larger one on the right hand window in the future.
