Title: Ike Ashby Calls
Post by: kbbgood on May 19, 2015, 05:18:33 PM
I would love to see all the different calls Ike made over the years. Anyone have any they can post pictures of? I have a couple I will post if I can find a camera to do it with.

I know he made more then just the two styles. Hope to see more. By the way ncturkey, do you know what the corncob striker is made of?

I used to have a number of his corncob strikers and liked them.  I gave away several and lost the rest.  The most interesting thing he had was a cassette recording of wild turkeys.  I was fortunate to get my hands on a damaged cassette.  I was able to splice the tape and digitalize it with only a very short skip in the recording.

It is a Hickory Striker. It came with the Ashby caller.
