 I had a short piece of Padauk and decided to try a little something different. Really pleased with how it turned out. Cocobolo sound board.

 how is this call different??? looks the same to me... just wondering that's all

The dimensions are completely different. The height of the call is almost twice that, of the Davis style, creating a taller (deeper) sound chamber. Not as long, in the body as the Davis style, either. It may be just luck, but tuning it was easier, too.

Very nice Bill! Don't you just love it when an experiment goes well? Love the scratch box I got from you, I called a group of 6 gobblers in with it last fall...I didn't know they were there until they were 10 feet away and started clucking behind a small pine..lol ..I did photograph them when they moved out into the clearing but were out of range for my ML shotgun
