Made this curly claro walnut slate call the other day, slate over purpleheart, high pitched yelps, awesome break, nice rasp. Matched it with a jatoba striker with a slightly flared tip; crisp purrs, hard popping cutts, soft or loud. Really the best sounding call I have made yet.
