I want to thank Austin Hornberger for stepping up and being our new judge for this years Osage Roost Turkey Contest. Austin is a fine young man and call maker. I know he will do us an awesome job! So we have a contest. We are a little behind so
i'd like to know who's in and who's out. We will keep the same teams as last year. Captains please get with your team mates and get your squads on board. For the new members... You are welcome to play so speak up and we will find a spot for you all. Good luck to all teams this year!!
P.S. I'd like to get 4 donations (calls) from our members for prizes this year. Please donate a call for !!
1. Biggest Bird (Best Scored)
2. Longest Spurs (Best Scored)
3. Longest/Most beard length (Best Scored)
4. Take a Child hunting.... This is for 17 yrs. and under this year.
This year the 4 donations should be sent to me (PM me and I'll give you my address) Once I received the donations I'll post them. By doing this we won't run into any problems like in the past with donations and the winners of these prizes. I'll ship the winner your prize after the final results are posted. The contest will start today and last until June 8th, 2015 at that time a winning team will be announced and posted along with the prize winners! Good luck again teams, let make this years contest the best !!

No problem guys. This is an awesome site and you all help support me in both my call making and getting an education by buying the calls I post on here. So it's the least I ca do to give back. I know a lot of guys really enjoy this contest and did not want to see it disband. Good luck to everyone!

Ok we had another quality prize offered for the contest. The outpouring of support is very generous and much appreciated. Thank you again for the support!! I'll combine the extra calls and make an even better prize package for the winners *dance* Once I have the donated call in my possession I will reveal the donor and post with a write-up of the call offered. So far I'm very excited of the quality pledged calls and you will to when you see them. I'm doing it this way just incase something falls though with a donation. I don't see this happening with these members, it just protects the contest and the winners. In years past we had some donations that the prize winners was expecting that didn't get delivered for some reason. I'm taking that out of play for this year and I'll make sure the winners get there prizes without any cost to them. I hope you all understand why I'm doing this... this way. So if you would like to add a call to the prize package pm myself and we will get this done. Thanks again donors for your continued support. It's going to be a very nice contest. Something else were doing this year that's going to save time and get this contest going faster is....... All the teams will remain the same as last year. Austin and I assume your team is complete. Last years Captains, it is your responsibility to make sure your team is present, available and participating. You need to pm or call your teammates. If you feel or know a member is not playing, we have some new members looking for a spot. I see a few members have dropped out or off there team already and the openings will be filled with new members. We don't have time this year to pm everyone like in years past..... We don't want to leave anyone out, So Captains get your teams together. If you need a member... we got them ready to go. We should have a new 2015 Osage Roost Turkey Contest board up and running in a few day's. At that time each team needs to have a roll call and I will place new members in the void left by members vacating there spot. Teams at that time can elect new Captains if needed or handle any business with your teammates. To all new members.... I will do my best to make sure there is a spot for you. If you see an opening on a team you would like to be on.... Just pm me or Austin and we will "Try" to make this happen. If there's more new members than spots... We can alway add a new team. as long as the numbers work. Let the hunting begin !! Alabama opens this weekend. Best of luck to all the teams!!
