Title: Some SS Custom Calls with woodburning

Al Shoemaker sent me these great calls to do some woodburning. Two for a customer and one for Al. Butternut bodies with canarywood lids on two and cherry on the other. Calls do not have finish on yet in these pics. Customer wanted one to be a going to roost/ flydown theme. Al said to surprise him so the middle one is for Al. Hope you like it!

Oh my those are absolutely out of this world Kelly!!!!  So much detail!!!!  I would have to say that Al & his customer are going to be extremely pleased with his call.  You nailed every scene!!!!

Outstanding work Kelly all of your work is very natural and exact.
For instance the fly down its perfect just as you see it in the woods. Keep up the excellent work you have a great talent.

Kelly awesome presentation and detail with each new piece you create. The lid with the beard and spurs is out of sight...WOW! *bowing* *bowing*

Kelly.... Mikes right- there just I ant proper words to describe each box you add you talent and gift to my friend. Each one is so different and also each one is spot on in detail that we hunters see in nature . We are graced to have your talent to adorn and comets the significance of each box ya do for us- thank you for competing and adding so much expression and meaning to what we do with your art  *bowing*

I like them all (how could you not?). But I especially love the fly down scene and the one following it with the two birds and the stream. Just classic. Beautiful work, from concept to finish. And on SS calls they're real treasures.
