Finally got some time in the shop, and turned these. I also messed around with my striker design.
On the left is some really dark Santos Mahogany. BLO finish, 3.5" Glass over acrylic (corian).
The right is some spalted Beech I happened across. Again, BLO finish, 3.5 slate over glass.
The strikers are Ipe, top, and Osage, that was dug up in a ditch, so it has some funk in it *lol*
