Title: Lower than whale poop
Post by: ol bob on October 20, 2014, 11:00:38 AM: Well just got back from the 5th Dr. in 5 weeks said no hope in sight, if you have never had a shingles shot get one been through unbearable pain and not getting any better don't know when or if I'll ever get back in the shop and It's got me down just hope tomorrow will be better.

Really sorry to hear about your problem. I know that it is a miserable situation. All I can do is offer the hope that it will get better with time. That's not much consolation now but keep that in mind now when you're feeling down. The vaccination is not 100% effective but does help to cut down on the chances of developing long term problems. You also need to have boosters every few years to maintain its effect. Hopefully you're past the worst part and can look forward to feeling like you old self soon.

I had huge blisters on my back. Very sick. My left arm ached and tingled months if not over a couple years after the fact. Every time my back felt itchy I thought they were coming back......
No fun at all. I have not thought about it in quite a while but know they may reappear.
