Was out looking around yesterday and today ,from what I'm seeing it's going to be a good fall season. The colder temps seem to have them out and about. Seen four different flocks yesterday, one flock of six gobblers, and three flocks of hens and poults.no big flocks about ten to fifteen birds in each flock. Took the dogs out today and broke birds up twice, we set up and called, trying to get Rosie to set still while we call is still pretty hard . But this only her second season. All and all if we would have been really hunting there would have been feathers flying. Cutter still seams a little annoyed by Rosie. Had one bird come in to about ten yards before it seen Cutter, and had some run right away not sure weather they seen us or heard Rosie she wasn't being real still.

I have been seeing birds almost daily. I am hunting a couple of color phase hens near my house. They changed our fall season we can now take our fall limits during archery if we want. That adds about 6 weeks to the fall season and the limit is still around 200 either sex.
