I normally don't bother snakes too much if I find em out doing there thing. I figure they were put here for a reason. But around the job sites where the guys are working, picking up stuff, flipping materials around, ect.....the bad ones gotta go. We were moving a few large rocks around that had been there for a bit (couple years) and the snakers just rolled out of there. All copperheads. Don't know how many got away but these didn't make it. The big one is 44". I have been around near 60 years and have NEVER seen on this large. A true monster for my area.

They are all good snakes now. Don't blame you for offing them.
-
I hate snakes and the only good ones are dead ones IMO
-
For a copperhead, that is a big one!...I hate snakes too.
-
whew--glad no one got bit !!!
Those will not bite anyone now---
did I ever mention---I hate poisonous snakes
-
I would have seriously hurt myself trying to get the heck outta there! Nightmare stuff right there.
-
I put my feet up on the furniture when I saw this!!!
-
Only good snake is a dead snake... Copperheads are the worst!
-
I hate those things - nice job! On a positive note, they look like some mighty fine future hat-bands and trumpet holsters. You could probably make a coat out of that 'king of the copperheads' big one!
-
My rule is if it doesen't have shoulders i kill it.
-
That's the reason I wear snake boots on my job! Staking phone cables up and down the sides of the roads where the grass is knee high, and in and out of ditches, not to mention in folk's yards with all the shrubbery. They sure give me a piece of mind!! But, these look like some "GOOD" snakes!!

Interesting colors on those. They look different than our copperheads down here. Glad yall got them before somebody got bit.
-
LT skin that big one for me and save it for next spring, would have loved to see you're face when you all of then come slithering out *bannana*
