Title: Nashville Warning
Post by: icdedturkes on August 19, 2014, 02:14:13 PM
Talked to Scott Hook today, he said he had received 6 calls in 10 minutes from different folks with foreign accents offering discounted rates for hotels in Nashville if you booked through them. He finally let them have it. .Upon researching back tracking the number it is a scam with all negative results.

So if you are an exhibitor in Nashville just a heads up as that is probably where they are getting the names.

My wife got a call the other day. They started off saying they were with the NWTF Marketing Division and when she asked questions, they switched her over to a supposed hotel. I called the NWTF and gave them the phone number that came up on caller ID. They checked it out and told them they were messing with fire for representing the NWTF. This is a huge scam and my guess is the Expo people have sold them all the exhibitors phone numbers.
