Skye ended the summer SCTP competitions with a 3rd in sporting clays in TN state competitions and 3rd in the Nation at the SCTP Nationals in Sparta IL.. Not to bad for learning skeet and sporting clays this year..... she wasn't far off placing in Trap and Skeet as well.. Had a college coach come over and watch her shoot a couple of stations ...Skye has fallen in love with shooting sporting clays...we'll be shooting several different courses this winter when not duck hunting....I'd say she has earned the corner spot in the blind.... Bunker Trap training Saturday and a NSSA skeet completion the following week with her team mates.....
Dove season/wood duck and teal season coming up fast!!!

That is truly fantastic! I've watched a lot of that competition at the WSRC in Sparta, IL and can testify that her place was well earned. The competition there is tough.
Congratulations.
Thanks,
Clark

Way to go Skye!!! I am guessing that it would have been a harder goal to reach without some backup.. ;) so...

Skye is maturing into a fine well rounded shooter indeed Matt. It was a pleasure having you both up again this year and I wish her all the success in her future competitions as well as the Duck blind and Dove fields. Hope to see you both again next year.

Just got home from International Bunker Trap class at the Olympic bunker in Nashville....learned a lot more about higher level shooting and the mindset you need to compete at top level...lots of good information that will play well into her sporting clays, skeet, and trap....
skeet practice sunday at 4pm....Tuesday and Thursday...maybe I'll get a break during duck season.....I'll just sit in the blind and watch....
John....we drove off from your house and didn't even make it to the river and she already missed your hospitality.....we both had a the best time that week. Megan was great company and skye sends her love to Amos.... *cheers*

I just put Amos out for stud yesterday, he did his job this morning and I'm going to leave him until tomorrow eve just to make sure he gets it right. Maybe you better get your name on the waiting list for a pup as the owner of the female already has 5 people on the list now. *peep*
Megan had a blast with Skye as well and you are both have a place to stay and visit anytime you want my friend. Again good luck to you and Skye this fall with all whatever you pop primers at!
