Title: Desert Hills

This is another flame box elder short box but this tree is from here in middle Tennessee. Most of the red had rotted away before the tree came down but the colors and patterns I have been getting are pretty cool. This is book matched sides and the paddle came from the same blank but an inch or so over from the sides.

Spalting, some reds, blues, grays, quilting it has it all and then the grain looks like clouds blowing over sand dunes.
