Title: What is the difference between Limba & Black Limba?

Is it just the color or also hardness?

There is White and Black Limba.....The white doesn't have the black oily lines running thru it.

Limba is marketed as White Limba and Black Limba, but it all comes from the same tree.. The wood with the dark streaks running through it is referred to as black limba and the rest is referred to as white limba.. I haven't noticed any difference in the sound of either..
