I hunted the Sedan area two years ago. They were very scattered and are walkers for sure. I got on one that acted very Eastern like. Once committed, he came right in. They like to get out in those large fields and walk all day. I would sit in the edges of the woods calling towards the woods and the birds would come out of the grass behind me. It is different. Good luck Neal.
Porter and Darlin are there right now and having a tough time.

We are in North Central Ks and it's tough right now, but around Parsons I was just told they are working like crazy!!!
It's super dry out here and very call shy :(
