Title: N.C. Turkeys & Extra Surprise..

The birds have been henned up bad the first part of the season, But I was still lucky enough to tag out in NC...Both these gobblers were good mature birds, 10 inch and 10.5 inch beard...1 1/8 spurs on one and just over 1 inch on the other...seen alot of Gobblers and have taken the girls quite a few times...had several hunts were the birds stayed with hens jus out of range...some gobbled some never made a peep...Our season has been really late for Gobblers acting like they should to calls...but its been getting right lately...Also had a dandy of a surprise in the woods this week...Morels are up!!!

You had a great year with that Trough call Tim congrats.
I'm looking forward to getting out and finding a few gobblers and gobbling on some Morels myself.

Yes Sir, Tim you had a great season and wild turkey and shrooms make for a great feast with a little BLL to wash it down *up*

Congrats on the stellar season, man you were really tough on em with those troughs this year---congrats !!!
