Title: Broke the ICE

Chase, has had a rough year. We killed several last year that just fell in our laps. Well this year has been rough. Thought about going to the grocery store and buying one a few mornings. Today we went to where I roosted several birds last night and busted that up real quick. So we headed to a bird that was gobbling. When we got close parked the jeep and off we go. Feed him a little cracked corn and 2 gobbled back. Went to the closest bird. Got close to where I thought he was and feed him some more corn. Bam, I told Chase sit down right here he's coming. I backed up ten yards and feed him a little Buice action. Then the drumming started! Close.... I knew he would be close at the shot because we where on the back side of a ridge. He got to periscope depth. Chase gave him a dose of hevi 6's when he stuck his head up. 21 pounds, inch spurs and 10 inch beard.
